Dale has had a tough introduction to golf. She has played twice and hit a total of 256 shots - enough for most players to get round the course nearly four times.

However, she must have felt harshly treated by the Handicapping Committee who seemed to ignore her previous round completely and gave her exactly the same handicap in 2008 as in 2007. She boycotted the competition in 2009, but returned in 2010 to improve her previous best score by 18 shots and win the coveted title. She also became the first player to win the Lawle Guby Open followed by the Wooden Spoon in consecutive years.

She held a number of highest score records after her performance in 2007, but must have been relieved to see Jacki take most of them in 2008.

Trivia: Dale is not related to Dale Winton. They have different surnames.
